Here, you can write a brief introduction to your page. This engages your visitors and answers questions they may have about you.

Jenny Bahn is a writer based in New York City.

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley eating mostly grilled cheeses off the Chili’s kid’s menu. For years, I played softball, but was never very good. Later, when it was too late, I switched to volleyball, and was even worse. I went to NYU, where a freshman lit teacher named Elizabeth put a Xerox copy of a David Sedaris story in front of me. My love was immediate. I had never considered writing professionally before this moment, though, in the second grade, I wrote a film adaptation of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol. It was called Hello, Mr. Scrooge! It never got picked up.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to interview  Blood Orange, Perfume Genius, Alex Prager, and others.  My work has been featured in V Magazine, CR Fashion Book, OFFICE, Lenny Letter, Cereal Magazine, DARLING, and Violet, to name a few. In 2013, I wrote a book called  Brooklyn Love Stories.
